New service VisioAssist Give Sani Marc Employees a Better View of Their Work

At Sani Marc, we want to help our employees see things from a new perspective, so we added 3-D glasses to their toolkit to help them serve clients more efficiently across Canada! The Vuzix® Smart Glasses System is an ergonomically designed, wearable Android-based computer with Wi-Fi connectivity, and hands-free operation. The glasses are equipped with voice-command functionality and an HD camera, so you can share everything you see in front of you with others in multiple locations, using live streaming. Moreover, they have extreme noise reduction, which is really practical in noisy warehouse environments.

The smart glasses Vuzix® may look like a fancy new toy, but these smart glasses have proven to be a great tool for breakdown analysis and repair support among Sani Marc technicians, as well as for evaluating clients’ equipment needs, and providing sales support. For instance, a client based in a remote area on Vancouver Island needed repairs and modifications to a system, but the Sani Marc technician was located in BC. The smart glasses made communicating with the technician in the field a breeze, and he was able to get the in-depth support he needed from the engineering department to complete the work in one visit, which minimized downtime, and saved costs for the client.

These smart glasses are also great for training new staff members on their use of sanitation equipment. Tasks can be recorded as they are being performed and viewed step by step before starting a job.
