Sani Marc Europe, SAS, a subsidiary of Sani Marc Group, a Canadian leader in the manufacture and distribution of maintenance and sanitation products, took over the assets and activities of French company Copak, a manufacturer of high-end and innovative maintenance products, on February 13.

The takeover of Copak, a company based in St-Étienne-de-Rouvray in the Seine Maritime, represents a superb opportunity for Sani Marc to offer its expertise in European soil while enjoying strong complementarities to fuel its future growth. “We firmly believe that by unifying our expertise with Copak’s, we will be able to develop a wider range of products and services on the European market, as well as interesting innovations,” explained Pierre Goudreault, President of Sani Marc.

Copak’s business has been for over 20 years in the design, development and manufacture of tailor-made maintenance products for its customers. Its range of products covers the maintenance of floors and surfaces, and the maintenance and cleaning of kitchens and laundry. Copak enjoys an ultra modern production unit consisting of high performance and state of the art machines. Its current production capacity can reach 3 500 tonnes per year. The company is equipped with a laboratory of control, research and development and develops new custom formulas every year for its customers.

In addition to the design, development and manufacture of cleaning and sanitizing products, Sani Marc differentiates itself by its expertise in several spheres of activities related to cleaning and disinfection and its unique way of placing the customer at the centre of its commercial actions while remaining oriented towards a growth that is both sustained and profitable.

Under the terms of this takeover, Sani Marc Europe, SAS takes over the assets and activities of Copak. “ Joining Sani Marc Group is great news for our customers. We will now be able to count on the strength of the group to offer our customers new opportunities while continuing to deliver our convenience and tailor-made service,” said Sonia Brachet Dupuy, now General Manager of Sani Marc Europe, SAS.
